Why Do We Continue to Work for the Man?

Working for ‘the man’. Your whole life, this is what you do. Your job in high school, after high school, in college, after college, always working to make other people rich. Kevin O’Leary always talks about his personal experience of his first job at an ice cream parlor, and how after he was fired swore he would never work for someone else again.

So, why aren’t we taught to be the boss? To go into business for ourselves? Stay tuned and I’ll share with you the main reason why!

Even with all the education I had, from grade school, to high school, to 4 years of University, to Graduate school, I only had one class about entrepreneurship. Everything else was to prepare me to go and get a job and work for ‘the man’.

Why are we taught our whole life to work for someone else, it almost guarantees that you’ll never become incredibly wealthy.

Just listen to these statistics according to the U.S. Census Bureau, in 2015, people with doctorate degrees earned an average income of approximately $81,000. People with advanced degrees earned an average of $72,000. Even if you're lucky enough to earn double those amounts or triple those amounts and you can manage to save $100,000 per year and you average a 7 percent return, it would take you just under 31 years to save $10 million dollars (I would say that counts as incredibly wealthy).

So why do we continue to take orders and work for someone else? On there time, when they want?

Because being your own boss and opening up your own business, possibly a restaurant or bar, or retail store, is a full-time business. You need to quit your job, as doing both would be a lot of work and take a lot of time. Its just too risky!

However, did you know that there is one business you can start right away, where you can become your own boss, where you are the one whom is in control of your financial future, where you CAN become incredibly wealthy, where you don’t have to quit your job right away to run full-time?

When you own your own real estate investing business, the sky is the limits on how successful you can be, because it is now in your hands on how successful you want to be.

It all comes down to you, and how hard you are willing to work, to grow your portfolio, to grow your wealth, so you can leave your full-time job and become a full-time real estate investor, like me.

Time is a limited resource, and you don’t want to waste your time working for ‘the man’, working until your 70, working just so you can retire and get by.
